If I sign up for Weathercall, and I have an unlisted phone number, is anyone at WRAL going to give out my phone number to anyone - for any reason?

MIKE MOSS SAYS:       Gary,     Our management assures me that WRAL and WeatherCall will not provide your number to anyone else and it will only be used for the delivery of warnings and possibly for advising you if any technical issues arise that may affect the service. Here is a quote from the FAQ section of WeatherCall's web site - "We do not share or rent or otherwise distribute your private information to another organization. Your information is only used to provide the WeatherCall service." You can also review a more detailed WeatherCall privacy policy statement at

I've suggested that an entry about this be added to the WRAL FAQ you mentioned. Thanks for raising the question.
