When do you predict will be the peak of the fall foliage for the NC mountains this year?
MIKE MOSS SAYS: Vera, The peak varies with elevation, of course, but there are nice colors already in place at the higher elevations in the NC mountains (around 5,000 feet and up), and the good color should be spreading to lower elevations there over the next two weeks or so before fading in the lower elevations a week or so into November.
