Tour the Hurricane Center... Sort Of
The National Hurricane Center is offering free tours to anyone who wants one -- and has a computer.

If you've ever wanted to see the inner workings of the National Hurricane Center, now's your chance -- and you won't have to go to Florida to do it. (Although, there are worse things than going to Florida, I'm sure!)
The NHC has set up a nifty virtual tour of their facility. The tour includes views of every room in the NHC, as well a number of other facilities associated with the Center. Each view comes with some audio to describe what goes on in that area.
The announcement about this virtual tour is timely. Dr. William Gray, as well as a team of researchers from NC State University, announced today they expect a busy hurricane season.
