Is it ever going to be seasonal weather in North Carolina or are are we going to stay warm and toasty? Michael Ellington

MIKE MOSS SAYS:    Michael,   we're in the midst of some fairly seasonal temperatures now in the wake of yesterday's storm season. Overall, it appears we're likely to climb a bot as the week goes on, then run in the normal to somewhat above normal range over the next two weeks or so for the most part. After that, longer range climate outlooks indicate a tendency toward near normal temperatures for the season. If that holds true, then we'll likely settle into somewhat cooler temperatures, but likely with excursions both above and below normal. Keep in mind that longer range outlooks are quite general though, and there aren't any good ways to confidently forecast particular weather details beyond a week or so in advance.
