Another round of storms moved through the area Thursday night with numerous reports of strong winds and large hail. Here is a look at the storm reports from the Storm Prediction Center website:
A brief tornado touchdown was reported by the public near LaGrange in Lenoir County, no damage reported. Closer to home it was more hail and wind that anything else. Golfball size hail was reported in Highfalls, Moore County, half-inch hail around Jordan Lake and quarter-inch hail in Raleigh to name a few.

Although there was a lot to clean up in some areas, there were also some pretty sights as this viewer sent in.
