  4. Hillsborough St Parking Deck

    This is the cell that passed through Cary as it moves through downtown. From the parking deck we could see a lot of convection in the clouds with some updraft. There was very little wind associated with the storm but a lot of rain. By the time it passed through the storm had weakened significantly.

  17. Tornadic Cell Moves through Cary

    These video clips show a small stream turned into a rushing river by this severe thunderstorms that moved through the Cary area earlier. The last video shows circulation and lift in the clouds where I suspect a tornado was trying to form. This shot matches perfectly with where a tornado looked to be forming on the radar. This area shown in the video went on to pass through the crossroads area and then downtown Raleigh.

  25. Keep your eyes on the skies!!!

    This video was taken around 6:30 p.m from my backyard. The clouds were rotating in a way I have never seen before in all my life. The location is 10 miles from Wilson and 5 miles from Sharpsburg.
