I took this video with my cell phone while standing in the front parking lot of Wilson Christian Academy.
This video was taken from Lake Wheeler Road looking North-West toward US 1 and I-440. The Tornado touched down serval times. The final clip is a funnel cloud over downtown Raleigh.

This is the cell that passed through Cary as it moves through downtown. From the parking deck we could see a lot of convection in the clouds with some updraft. There was very little wind associated with the storm but a lot of rain. By the time it passed through the storm had weakened significantly.
Filmed this from my phone today around 7pm.
Out in an open field that over looks Raleigh from Hodge Rd. in Knightdale. The exact location was the undeveloped Subdivision right across Hodge Road from Poole's Garage.
The first video is of the tornado as seen from the Edgewater community, while the tornado was over Hedingham (to the northwest). The second is storm wind and rain minutes after the tornado passed (looking east). All footage filmed from my house.

wind was very calm before clouds came over then they started spinning around over house,got very dark at one point.Could not figure out object floating in air.

This was taken from 6:30-7:15pm on May 5th, 2009 in the West Lake Development in Apex, NC
These were taken from the intersection of S. Bloodworth and E. Davie Streets at about 7, looking Northeast. The street in the shot is S. East Street.
These video clips show a small stream turned into a rushing river by this severe thunderstorms that moved through the Cary area earlier. The last video shows circulation and lift in the clouds where I suspect a tornado was trying to form. This shot matches perfectly with where a tornado looked to be forming on the radar. This area shown in the video went on to pass through the crossroads area and then downtown Raleigh.

My second time trying to send these. A storm that passed throught the Bailey area. A lot of rotation when it went through.

This video was taken around 6:30 p.m from my backyard. The clouds were rotating in a way I have never seen before in all my life. The location is 10 miles from Wilson and 5 miles from Sharpsburg.

Clouds sunk to earth then started rotating going up and winds suddenly increased. Followed by heavy rain. One of two possible formations we saw.
