Tonight’s Forecast
Cloudy skies early on this evening then gradually becoming partly cloudy with fog by morning. Lows in the lower-mid 40s. We traded one overcast for another overcast today. We started out the day gray and dreary with a low level overcast which gradually eroded this afternoon, but in its place a high level overcast from 15,000ft to 25,000ft resided. The drizzle we started the day with ended by lunchtime so at least it was dry for the afternoon. We do expect the high level overcast to erode tonight and by daybreak we should see patchy dense fog. Winds tonight will be light from the southwest.
Thursday, November 26
Patchy dense fog with some clouds to start the day with increasing clouds this afternoon. Highs in the mid 60s. We should see quite a bit of sunshine after the patchy fog burns off this morning. It should be quite bright and mild through the afternoon with increasing clouds late in the day and into the evening. We should see some rain develop but it looks like it will hold off until after sunset. Sunrise: 7:02 a.m., Sunset: 5:02 p.m. Wind: S at 5-10 m.p.h. Thursday night: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Lows in the mid-upper 30s. Winds from the northwest at 10-15mph.
Friday, November 27
Partly to mostly cloudy, windy and colder. Highs in the lower-mid 50s. We should start off the day with full sunshine and dry weather so if you are headed out for the 'doorbuster' sales at local stores, you will need to leave the umbrella at home but you will need your coats since it will be quite breezy and cold to start the day. We will likely see clouds rapidly develop across the area by lunchtime and sky cover should vary from partly to mostly cloudy into the afternoon. The wind will be quite gusty at times and will likely make it feel more like the 40s this afternoon. Winds should gradually die ease once the sun sets but still remain breezy overnight. Sunrise: 7:03 a.m., Sunset: 5:02 p.m. Wind: NW at 15-25 m.p.h. Friday night: Clear skies and cold. Lows in the lower 30s. Most of us have not experienced our first freeze yet this fall and tonight could be the night we see freezing temperatures. It does not appear to be a hard freeze but cold enough to be very uncomfortable if you are outside any length of time. Winds tonight from the northwest at 10-15mph.
