Pikeville, N.C. — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Sunday for a missing Wayne County teenager.
Megan Marie Bartz, 14, is white, stands 5 feet 4 inches and weighs approximately 180 pounds. She has medium light-brown hair, brown eyes and an eraser burn and cuts on her left arm.
She was last seen wearing a purple Carolina Girl hooded sweatshirt, a knit cap, dark blue jeans and purple and white Nike shoes. Her first name, Megan is on the left shoe heel, and her last name, Bartz, is on the right shoe heel.
Bartz was last seen on Nor-Am Road in Pikeville.
A photo was not immediately available.
Anyone with information about Bartz should call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at 919-731-1493.
