Water deemed safe for residents in Wake Forest neighborhood
The water is safe for Wake Forest residents living in the Stony Hill Road area, according to officials from the Environmental Protection Agency.

EPA officials held a meeting Tuesday to announce their progress as well as the completion of water service lines.
Last year, well water at more than 20 homes tested positive for trichloroethylene, or TCE, a cleaning agent used for degreasing.
Some of the residents in the area continue to get their water from a well and have been tested recently. The other residents in the area now get their water supply from Aqua , a utility that provides water to the town of Wake Forest.
Even with the progress, residents continue to have concerns.
"Every time I turn the water on I'm wondering whether I'm going to get sick or not. That is something I'm going to have to live with in my new house for the rest of my life," said Wake Forest resident Brian Gammon.
According to the EPA another round of water tests will be conducted later this summer.
