Raleigh, N.C. — More than 43,000 Raleigh homes will see changes in their garbage, yard waste and recycling collection days, city officials said Friday.
The changes will begin the week of Sept. 3.
Officials said the collection routes are being remapped because of rapid growth of Raleigh’s population. The new schedule will allow daily routes to be more balanced.
Affected households will receive a calendar in the mail this month that will have the new service schedule through June 2014.
