Warren County authorities searching for missing man
The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Thursday for a man last seen in Warrenton in Warren County.

Michael Eric Howard, 23, is black, stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes.
Howard was last seen on Rudolph Lane in Warrenton, authorities said.
Anyone with information about Howard should call the Warren County Sheriff's Office at 252-257-1098.
Developed in 2007, Silver Alert is a system to quickly notify the public about missing endangered people who suffer from dementia or other cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's disease.
It also allows caregivers and nursing homes to report a person missing. In the past, only a family member could report an adult missing.
