— Search warrants released Friday reveal more details about a fatal shooting in Wake Forest.

Leslie Edward Smith, 62, and Jaquelyn Larue Gore, 48, of 3 Kelly Pine Court, were arguing outside their home Sunday afternoon, the warrants say, when Smith asked a neighbor to borrow a gun.

Smith called 911 at about 2 p.m. to report that he had shot Gore. When deputies arrived, they found her dead from a gunshot wound to the chest, deputies said.

According to the warrants, they also found a handgun on the table and shell casings in the home.

Deputies charged Smith with murder. He was being held at the Wake County jail.

So it's a trailer park right? Okay so how did the neighbor not hear the two arguing? I mean it's not like those things block noise like a house would. Can you picture your neighbor coming up to you out of breath asking for a gun when you just heard him arguing with his ladyfriend??? This is ridiculous....

The neighbor should have quizzed him on why he wanted to borrow the gun ...?

They ought to charge the friend as an accessory for giving him the gun..
