Warrant: 'Large stick' used to rob Fayetteville convenience stores

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A judge set bond at $25,000 Monday for a Fayetteville woman accused of robbing two convenience stores.

Heather Michelle LeBlanc, 28, of the 6400 block of Greengate Hill in Fayetteville, is charged with two counts each of armed robbery and conspiracy, according to arrest warrants.

Police charge she threatened clerks at the Scotchman store at 6508 Yadkin Road and the Wilco Hess store at 670 N. Reilly Road with "a large stick." One witness said she appeared to be carrying a squeegee.

LeBlanc took $161.75 and two cartons of cigarettes from the Scotchman and $81 from the Hess, the warrant said.
