Warmer temperatures expected this week
Temperatures from a chilly air mass this weekend won't stick around for long as temperatures climb into the 80s this week.

Cool, dry air invaded central and eastern North Carolina Saturday behind a passing front as temperatures dipped to five-month lows across the area early Sunday.
Daytime highs reached the mid-70s in parts of the Triangle Saturday afternoon, but they dropped into the low 40s – and even upper 30s in some spots – Sunday morning.
The last time temperatures were below 45 degrees at Raleigh-Durham International Airport was late April.
Temperatures Sunday reached into the mid-60s Sunday afternoon, about 10 degrees below normal.
The dry air will stay put across the area for the bulk of the week, as daytime highs will be in the mid-70s to low 80s Monday through Friday.
Overnight lows will range from the mid-40s on Monday to low 60s later in the week.
