Want a hot air balloon to land near you?
Hot air balloons will be racing Saturday through Memorial Day near Zebulon. They will need places to land and you can help them find one.
Posted — UpdatedFestival organizer Brian Hoyle said people with open space who would be fine with a balloon landing there should leave out a white sheet in the designated location. Of course, the location should be free from power lines and other obstacles.
Balloons have landed on golf courses, farms and other places.
Races will be taking place between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. near Bennett Bunn Plantation in Zebulon. While balloons will be taking off from there, they will also be traveling around the area so you never know where they are going to be flying!
