Walmart is offering a very interesting gift card exchange as of 12/25. You can exchange gift cards from over 200 other merchants for a Walmart gift card.

Beginning December 25, you can go to  walmart.cardcash.com/ and get an offer of up to 97% of the value of the card to exchange it for a Walmart e-gift card.  For instance, you can get 95% of the face value of an Amazon gift card and 85% of a Gap gift card. A $50 Kohl's gift card would be worth $43.05.

If you want to accept their offer, you will then enter the information from the other merchant's gift card. Once they verify the balance, you will receive a Walmart e-gift card via e-mail. The gift card can be used at Walmart.com, Samsclub.com, Walmart stores and Neighborhood Markets (print it out and hand it to the cashier), and Sam’s Club (print it out and hand it to the cashier).

It usually takes 1 to 2 hours to verify the balance on the other merchant's card, but in some cases it can take up to 24 hours.

For more information on this new program, head to walmart.cardcash.com.
There are other sites like Cardpool.com, Raise.com and Coinstar.com that also offer gift card exchanges or sales.
