Raleigh is gearing up for Halloween with its inaugural Living Dead Halloween Festival this Saturday in City Plaza. Officials expect thousands of zombies and humans alike to attend, and with live music, performances and local organizations, it promises to be an exciting and thrilling night.
There will be a "ReDress the Dead" fashion show, a makeup booth, a Zombie Dance camp, a "Thriller" flash mob and Zombie Circus street performances, in addition to live music, a children's area, vendors, food trucks and a Zombie Olympic Obstacle Course.
An all-access adult pass is $15 online before the event. Children's tickets are $5 and include access to all kid's activities. College students can also get access to all the events and activities for only $10 online before the event.
The Living Dead Festival lasts from 4-11 p.m., but then head over to Tir na nOg for an undead after-party.
