Walgreens changes coupon policy and NOT for the better
Walgreens has made some significant changes to their coupon policy and couponers are not going to like it. There are 2 major changes including one to the BOGO policy. Read on for the details.

"Walgreens will not accept coupons that exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons."
In the past, if you had a coupon for $1 off an item and the item was on sale for 99 cents at Walgreens, they would lower the coupon amount so you could get the product for free using the coupon. They did not give cash back, but they still let you use the coupon on the product. Well, not any more.
"For offers when multiple items are purchased and additional items are free (buy 1 get 1 free; buy 2 get 1 free, etc.), the number of coupons applied to that offer cannot exceed the number of items required in the "buy" portion of the offer. Coupons may not be applied against any free item received in any offer."
As most of you know, one of the most common ways couponers save the big bucks is by using a coupon on each item of a BOGO deal. Stores including CVS, Harris Teeter, Lowes Foods, Food Lion and Kroger have allowed this practice for years. Up until now, so had Walreens.
Making these kinds of changes to their coupon policy will most certainly change the way couponers shop at Walgreens.
