Walgreens announces purchase of Kerr Drug

The big drug store news yesterday was that Walgreens is buying NC-based Kerr Drug.  According to the WRAL.com article in the box above, Walgreens will buy Kerr Drug's 76 stores and specialty pharmacy business. The deal should be completed later this year and until then, the Kerr Drug name will remain.
