Cary, N.C. — A woman charged in March with assault following a domestic incident in Cary involving her boyfriend and her father has been indicted on a charge of involuntary manslaughter after her father died of his injuries.
A domestic dispute occurred March 19 between Angel Nicole Bradford and her boyfriend at 104 Lasky Court, police said. Bradford called her father, Christopher Layne Bradford Jr., to the scene, and he was shot during a struggle with her, police said.
Christopher Bradford died in September, and a Wake County grand jury grand jury returned the manslaughter indictment this week against Angel Bradford, 22, of 3304 Glen Royal Road in Raleigh.
She was initially charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
