Wake schools wants to know what you want in a superintendent

Posted February 24, 2013

As many of you know, the Wake County Board of Education is seeking a new superintendent.

And as part of that search, the board is seeking input from the public about what qualities they'd like to see in the next leader of the system, the 18th largest in the country. The five-question survey asks people to write about the good things about the schools, along with what characteristics they'd like to see in a new school leader.

You can read more about the search process here. Click here to take the survey.

What a joke. The Superintendent is just a puppet anyway and will be fired every time a new majority is voted in, so what difference does is make?

so 5 waisted comments out of 6. Tata is gone, get over it - you have plenty of time to move through the grief cycle. So now lets move on to doing what is right for our children!!!

I'm completely happy with the current superintendent - Stephen Gainey. Why can't he keep the position?

Tata. A man who didn't play the politics and was not afraid to make changes.

They should have asked us this before they fired Tata. Ridiculous.
