Raleigh, N.C. — No marriages, births or deaths will be recorded in Wake County Monday. The office of the Register of Deeds, which handles filing those documents, is closed while workers move to a new location.
The office will re-open Wednesday morning at One Bank of America Plaza, 421 Fayetteville St., Suite 300, in Raleigh.
During the move, the register's Web site will be available for those wanting to search real estate transactions, but no new transactions can be recorded.
