Historic Oak View County Park will screen "Annie" on March 1
Historic Oak View County Park, a fun place to go on the average day, will offer free screenings of a couple of movies for kids this spring.

"Annie," the 1982 version with Carol Burnett, is planned for March 1. "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl," starring Abigail Breslin and based on Kit, the American Girl doll living during the Great Depression, is May 3.

Both of the films will start at 1 p.m. in the Farm History Center. The park will serve popcorn and lemonade.

Fantastic idea!

Historic Oak View, a Wake County park, is at 4028 Carya Dr. off Poole Road south of Raleigh.
