Wake man charged with using counterfeit money

A Wake County man faces charges of using counterfeit dollar bills in two counties.

GARNER, N.C. — A Wake County man faces charges of using counterfeit dollar bills in two counties.

Arrest warrants state that Lamel Truesdale used fake $50 bills totaling more than $400 to buy a PlayStation 3 system and some video games at the Walmart store in Garner.

He is also accused of using counterfeit money at a Walmart store in Rocky Mount.

Truesdale is due in court Monday on the Wake County charges.
