— Wake County has extended the hours for all regional and community libraries.

The extended hours are:

 Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
•Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
• Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

Large community libraries: Cary, Green Road, Holly Springs, Leesville and Richard B. Harrison
• Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
•Closed on Sunday

Community libraries: Duraleigh Road, Fuquay-Varina*, Southgate, Wake Forest, Wendell and Zebulon
•Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
•Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
• Closed on Sunday

*Fuquay-Varina Community Library is currently closed for renovations but will reopen in late September with new hours.
