Wake Forest's Renaissance Centre will host a couple of weekday family shows in the next week.

Carolina Puppet Theatre will perform at 11 a.m., Thursday (May 22). Ms. Poly and Ms. Ester, along with puppet star Bartlet, will tell stories, sing songs and more. These are fun for kids 3 to 7.

And Forest Moon Theater will perform at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 28. Forest Moon Theater's acting trio Beth Martin, Jennifer Schulz and Mitzi Bissette, create original and innovative children's plays using literature, improvisation and interactive fun where children are cast right out of the audience into the show, according to a description of the show.

Tickets are $5 per person for each show. They can be purchased online or at the Parks and Recreation window in the lobby of the Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St. You can also buy tickets at the door on the day of the event.
