Wake Forest police searching for car vandal

Police said Tuesday that they have handled multiple reports in the last few days of vandalism to parked vehicles. In each case, windows were shot out but no items were stolen from inside the vehicles, and no injuries were reported.

Investigators think the same person is responsible for each incident.

Police are encouraging residents to park cars in garages or driveways if possible, park in well-lit areas and call 919-556-9111 to report suspicious activity.

Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call a confidential tip line at 919-435-9610.
