Wake Forest, N.C. — Wake Forest police said Wednesday they have charged three more suspects in the Nov. 22 stabbing death of 21-year-old Edgar Hardison.
Leondra Montel Perry-Yarborough, 17, of the first block of Midnight Lane in Franklinton; Carlos Raymont Cannady, 22, of the 200 block of Savage Street in Franklinton; and Alexander Malik Morris, 18, of the 200 block of Beaver Ridge Drive in Youngsville, were each charged with murder.
They were being held at the Wake County jail and have a first court appearance set for Thursday.
Police on Tuesday announced the first arrest in the case: Jonte Tyvon Wall, 19, was charged with first-degree murder.
Hardison was found in a business plaza at 10501 Ligon Mill Road. Police did not offer a motive or comment on the connection between him and the suspects.
Gerard Doughty, who knew Hardison from a basketball ministry at Celebration Church on Capital Boulevard, described him as "a good kid."
"I could tell he had an inner glow inside of him. He was a really good person. He always cared about other people," Doughty said.
Doughty said he last saw Hardison three weeks ago at a community outreach event, and Hardison was talking about enrolling at Wake Technical Community College.
