Wake Forest man charged with sending illicit texts, cyberstalking

A 44-year-old Wake Forest man faces multiple charges after authorities say he sent inappropriate pictures and made harassing phone calls to several people.

WAKE FOREST, N.C. — A 44-year-old Wake Forest man faces multiple charges after authorities say he sent inappropriate pictures and made harassing phone calls to several people.

Jason Nero, of 1124 Willow Grass Lane, is charged with two counts each of felony disseminate obscenities, misdemeanor cyberstalking and making harassing phone calls.

According to Nero's arrest warrants, he sent pictures depicting sex acts to two different people. The first offense took place on June 21, and the second on July 26.

Authorities also say Nero made several harassing phone calls to three people between June 1 and Aug. 9. Nero was taken into custody by a Wake County sheriff's deputy on Hammond Road in Raleigh.

He was in the Wake County jail Thursday afternoon under a $30,000 bond.
