Wake Forest man accused of rape, indecent liberties with children
Wake County sheriff's deputies arrested a Wake Forest man and charged him with 15 counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of statutory rape/sex offense.
Posted — UpdatedWAKE FOREST, N.C. — Wake County sheriff's deputies arrested a Wake Forest man and charged him with 15 counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of statutory rape/sex offense.
Michael Chad Hagie, 38, of 14500 New Light Road, was being held on an $800,000 bond. His first court appearance is 9 a.m. Monday.
The crimes involved a 15-year-old and 14-year-old and happened between November 2010 and January, according to sheriff's officials. The crimes were not random.
Hagie is a Falls Lake park ranger. He is on leave with pay while authorities investigate.
