Wake County high school student accused of bringing weapons on campus

Posted — UpdatedGARNER, N.C. — A Wake County high school student is accused of bringing a gun and knife to the campus of Garner Magnet High School.
Joshua Ellis was being held under a more than $5,000 bond in the Wake County jail Friday.
Ellis is accused of having a Winchester Rifle in his pickup truck, according to an arrest warrant. Authorities also confiscated a pocket knife from him.
Ellis is due in court on Monday.
