Raleigh, N.C. — A two-mile chase down Tryon Road in southern Raleigh early Tuesday ended with a crash that injured two people, according to the Wake County Sheriff's Office.
Spokeswoman Phyllis Stephens said that a deputy tried to stop a vehicle on Tryon Road at Gorman Street around 1:30 a.m. The driver refused to stop, and deputies and Raleigh police officers followed the car along Tryon Road until it crashed and flipped onto its side near Par Drive.
Deputies said that two people in the car were injured, but did not release their condition or other details, such as what led to the chase.
