RALEIGH, N.C. — The debate over county dollars is ready to begin.

Wake County Commissioners will hold two public hearings Monday on the County Manager's Budget Proposal.

The first is at 2 p.m. at the Wake County Courthouse in Room 700. The second is at 7 p.m. at the Wake County Office Park in the Commons Building.

One of the most contentious issues is the request from Wake County Public Schools. They are asking for $10 million more than the county manager is proposing.
