Wade Man killed in Interstate 95 wreck
Jesse Randolph Parker Jr. died in the accident after police said he lost control while driving his truck on Interstate 95 near Eastover.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Wade man was killed in a wreck Wednesday evening in Cumberland County.
Jesse Randolph Parker Jr., 54, of 3536 Rich Walker Road, died in the accident after police said he lost control while driving his truck on Interstate 95 near Eastover.
Parker’s vehicle crashed through a guardrail in the median and then continued into oncoming traffic.
Witnesses said the truck then went under the middle of a tractor trailer and slammed into another vehicle head-on. The driver of that vehicle was taken to Cape Fear Valley for treatment. Authorities have withheld the name of the victim.
