Virginia woman faces sex crimes involving 14-year-old boy

Garner, N.C. — A Virginia woman was arrested late Thursday on charges stemming from accusations that she had sex with a 14-year-old Florida boy who was visiting family in Garner this summer.

Lisa Hess, 35, was charged with three counts of statutory rape and two counts of sex offense with a child, Garner police said Friday.

Investigators said Hess is a friend of the boy's family.

Search warrants in the case indicate that police detectives in Florida contacted Garner police on Sept. 6 after the boy's father found sexually explicit text messages and photos on the boy's cellphone.

The boy's mother also found Facebook messages that were described in the search warrant as "concerning."

Hess was being held Friday in the Russell County jail in Virginia without bond and is awaiting extradition to North Carolina.

Just sad that adults cannot leave children alone. Having said that, I do remember being 14 and fibbing about my age and dating a 21 year old Marine so it happens. But back in my day, you know before we had cars...LOL.... We definitely were not having sex outside marriage so the dating game was much different. :)

Yep, if she was a hot 20 year old woman most would not care, but a rather homely 35 year old - how vile! In any event she is mentally challenged at best, a complete looney most likely. She needs lots of help and now so will the young man.
