Before Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his message began to get traction, there was a slow movement regarding civil rights. One very weighty moment came in 1954 as the US Supreme Court ruled "separate but equal" would not, could not, ever again be the law of the land. The ruling came in the case of Brown vs. Board of Education. Linda Brown died two weeks ago at the age of 75.
