State and local authorities seized 13 video poker machines Tuesday from three homes near Dunn.

DUNN, N.C. — State and local authorities seized 13 video poker machines Tuesday from three homes near Dunn.

The machines were seized from outbuildings at 404 George Perry Road, 1372 George Perry Road and 2058 Jonesboro Road, authorities said. About $400 was collected from the machines.

Five people could be charged in the case, authorities said. Video poker is illegal in North Carolina, and those caught with machines face a misdemeanor charge of illegal possession of gaming machines.
