David and Victoria Beckham have a beautiful family of three children. With their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, headed off to college, Victoria can’t help but show just how emotional she is. Her little boy’s all grown up!
The sweet message she posted about sending her son off to college will give you all the feels. And if you’ve been a fan of Victoria’s ever since her days as Posh Spice, this will likely make you feel pretty old. I mean, can you believe she has a college-aged son?
She posted a photo of her and her son posing together, and the caption read, “We are all so proud of you Brooklyn. Amazing A level results and off to college. We love you so much and will miss you.”
She also added the hashtags “yesiamcrying” and “emotional.” Because who wouldn’t feel flooded with emotion at a time like this?
It does seem as though the mom has a “freshly cried tears” dewy glow about her in the photo. How sweet!
Brooklyn is heading to New York to study photography, and he’s feeling a lot of emotions about this next chapter of his life, too.
He told GQ, “I'm nervous, and my mum's upset about me leaving," he told the magazine, "but it's really exciting. I kind of live in the moment. I don't think people in New York will annoy me, and I feel like when I go there, I'll meet lifelong friends. Stuff like that."
And based on a photo that his dad posted to social media, he’s already getting acclimated to the city.
The photo of the father and son was captioned, “Englishmen in New York.” Get ready for a Brooklyn takeover, New York City.
Victoria Beckham gets social media support
Fans of the family online couldn’t help but post kind and encouraging words. They wrote things such as, “Stay strong,” “Good mama,” and fellow mom Reese Witherspoon commented, “Now I’m crying too! Great job mama!”
Hopefully their kind words will help her get through this exciting, yet difficult time!
The mom and dad have three other children, ranging in age from 14 to six, so they’ve got plenty of time before the others head off to college, too. And thank goodness-because a mom can only take so much, you know?
