— A Harnett County man has been accused of killing his sister-in-law and nephew who were found dead in their house near Coats.

John David Walter Haughton, 51, has been in the hospital since the shooting on Friday, but will be charged with two counts of first-degree murder upon his release, the Harnett County Sheriff's Office announced Sunday.

Haughton is accused of shooting his sister-in-law, 45-year-old Roxanne M. Haughton, and nephew, 24-year-old Richard Michael Miller, inside the home that they shared at 861 Johnson Road.

No other details, including a possible motive, have been released.

I thought IDed was some sort of Freudian term concerning bed wetting.

Well this is my seventh attempt to comment on the use of a non existent word. Pray tell me what was wrong with the last six comments and perhaps this one as well.

Took me a hot minute to realize what "IDed" meant. Why not "identified?" Sorry for being slow.

Prayers for those impacted by this tragic event.
