Vass man faces child sex charges
John Lindsey Heard was charged with two counts each of indecent liberties with child and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and one count each of statutory sex offense, sex offense in a parental role, felony child abuse sex act and displaying material harmful to a minor.

John Lindsey Heard, 58, of 267 McKeithan Road, was charged with two counts each of indecent liberties with child and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and one count each of statutory sex offense, sex offense in a parental role, felony child abuse sex act and displaying material harmful to a minor.
Heard was given a $100,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on Dec. 1, authorities said.
