Vass man charged with indecent liberties with child, sexual battery

— Moore County sheriff's investigators announced Tuesday that they arrested a 66-year-old Vass man on June 11 and charged him with felony indecent liberties with a child and misdemeanor sexual battery.

Dennis Frank Carr, of 117 Pine Drive, was being held on a $50,000 bond pending his first court appearance in Moore County Superior Court on July 12.

No other information was available.

    $50,000 bond?!?!?!?!?! No bond is high enough for these creeps! Makes me sad when I think of all the children who are being abused by adults. Childhood should be sacred.
