Va. man faces child sex offense charges in Raleigh

— A Virginia man was arrested in Raleigh Thursday after he allegedly had sexual contact with a 10-year-old girl, according to arrest warrants.

Joseph Darin Jenkins, 44, of 1004 Santa Maria Drive in Stafford, Va., was charged with three counts of first-degree sex offense with a child and one count of incident liberties with a child.

He was being held in the Wake County jail on a $1 million bond.

Raleigh police said Jenkins had sexual contact with the girl from December 2011 until February 2013.

    The death penalty should be on the table, for crimes of this nature. That poor girl will never, ever forget what happened.

    If this man is found guilty, he should get life, with absolutely NO possibility of parole, EVER!
