Va. man faces child sex offense charges in Raleigh

Raleigh, N.C. — A Virginia man was arrested in Raleigh Thursday after he allegedly had sexual contact with a 10-year-old girl, according to arrest warrants.
Joseph Darin Jenkins, 44, of 1004 Santa Maria Drive in Stafford, Va., was charged with three counts of first-degree sex offense with a child and one count of incident liberties with a child.
He was being held in the Wake County jail on a $1 million bond.
Raleigh police said Jenkins had sexual contact with the girl from December 2011 until February 2013.
