Posted February 18, 2015

Harris Teeter

Harris Teeter has some very good deals this week including asparagus, tilapia, orange juice, Keebler Sandies, flour tortillas, Febreeze, HT batteries & more!  There is also a new breakfast foods instant savings deal and a stock up and save promotion!

Be sure to check your Harris Teeter ad for a coupon for $15 off $75 purchase in the N&O today! Coupon is valid through 2/24 and is valid after all other discounts have been applied.  These coupons are usually not in the ads found in the store.

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. You can use a coupon on each item in a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!). The BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) sale prices listed below are the sale prices.

The official Harris Teeter Coupon Policy can be found on their website.

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

Harris Teeter digital e-coupons: The new Harris Teeter digital coupons are now available to load to your Vic card. You will need to go to and click on Login/Signup. Then click on e-Vic Coupons under the My e-Vic Savings tab. Then click to sign up for the new digital coupons program. These digital coupons CAN be combined with paper manufacturer's coupons. They will not double. You can clip up to 20 coupons at a time.

Had a good stock-up trip to HT this week. 329 retail down to 84 OOP. Good timing too, since we were out of cereal.

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper Feb 19, 2015

Tara - I am sorry you did not get the ad with the coupon. You need to call the newspaper, but it is probably too late to get the ads now. When there is an issue with your paper, you need to call the same day for redelivery. With the ice, they probably would not have redelivered yesterday anyway. At this point, they will probably just give you a credit for yesterday's paper since it was incomplete. You can call your local drug stores or grocery stores to see if they still have any copies of the paper from yesterday, but that is also unlikely (and time consuming). Unfortunately, it sounds like the paper was messed up for many people because of the ice. It was a bad week for the HT coupon to be in it.

  • tsharpe1990 Feb 19, 2015

I received my paper finally yesterday but there were no ads in the paper!!!! Who do I call about that???

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper Feb 18, 2015

Meredith - these in-ad coupons are usually NOT in the ads in the ad stands at HT stores. They are often in the ones in the newspapers that you can buy at the various grocery and drug stores, though. Just make sure you buy it in the store ( vs in the newspaper boxes you put your money in to outside the store) and check to see if the ad has the coupon before you buy it. And it will only be in the Wednesday paper today.

PCB - Glad you were able to get the paper and you had the coupon!

  • meredithlnt Feb 18, 2015

Is the coupon only in the home delivery papers or is it also in the ones that you can get from the stores?

  • pcbdouglas Feb 18, 2015

Woohoo! The ice finally melted enough for DW to get today's paper, and we got TWO HT ads in it, and yes, they EACH had a coupon! :) Honestly, though, I can't really see myself spending $150 in groceries this week, but it's nice to have the extra coupon if I decide I want to.

Very happy about the great price on the asparagus as well as the cod. We will probably be having that for dinner one night this week.

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper Feb 18, 2015

Barbara - thank you for the confirmation!

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper Feb 18, 2015

Just received my N & O today. I have the coupon for Harris Teeter save $15 when you spend $75. I also have a coupon five dollars off 30 for Aldi's in Garner.

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper Feb 18, 2015

Barbara - good point. I may not even have a paper at all.

I need to amend my post below. If your paper was delivered, let us know if you got a $15 HT coupon in the HT ad. Thanks!
