Thanks to AfullCup.com for the early ad preview!

Coupon policies and tips for shopping Harris Teeter Super Doubles:

* HT should be Super Doubling coupons worth up to $2 face value. This means that a $1.00 coupon will double to $2.00, a $1.50 coupon will double to $3.00 and a $2.00 coupon will double to $4.00!

* HT begins super doubling coupons at 7:00 AM on the first day of the sale. 24 hour stores do not super double coupons before 7:00 AM on the first day (at least that is how it has always worked in the past).

* HT will super double/double up to 20 coupons per household per day. Spouse's cards registered with the same address are linked because the policy is 20 per household, per day. If you have twenty $1 coupons and twenty .75 coupons, only 20 total will double. They will not double 20 coupons that are under $1 and also super double another 20 coupons that are over $1. It's 20 total coupons that are $2 or less doubled per day.

* HT policy is to double up to 3 identical coupons (as long as you buy the product required for each coupon, of course). So, if you have five $1.00 coupons for a product, the policy is to only super double the first three. They will accept 2 printable coupons per like item, per store, per day, according to their policy.

* You can use a manufacturer's coupon AND a Harris Teeter ZVR digital e-coupon on the same item! Watch the scanner as it totals your order to see if the digital coupons came off and if not, have them fix it at the register. If you forget to check the register screen for any missed digital coupons before you pay, make sure you check your receipt to see if the digital coupons were deducted. If not, go to the customer service desk right then and there and they should give you the money back for any digital coupons that did not come off correctly.

* Be sure to get rainchecks for the items that are on sale and out of stock. Rainchecks at Harris Teeter do not expire so you can use them at the next Super Doubles if you have coupons to go with them (which often happens).

DianeNC looks like it was a sign they forgot to take down :( Sign was gone when I went today although they did still have the special display....with place for price empty! But I did find another deal....Hot Shot Roach and Ant spray is on sale $2.50 so $.50 after $1/1 coupon from 5/19 RP.

  • shypkprincess Jul 12, 10:39 a.m.

DianeNC they had a special section near the freezers...maybe it was a sign leftover from another week but I checked and didn't see an end date for the sale. It's at the store on Harrison in Cary. I am going today to see if they ring up BOGO and let you know....I didn't have coupons with me on Wednesday when I saw the sign.

  • DianeNC Jul 11, 11:51 p.m.

shypkprincess - I was able to find the $1.00/1 coupon for the Archway cookies, but Express Lane is showing them as 2/$5.00 - you mentioned your store had them BOGO. Were these BOGO ones in a separate section of the store? Which store was this at? Thanks!

  • shypkprincess Jul 11, 5:08 p.m.

My store had the archway cookies BOGO...free after $1 printable.
Cooked perfect bites are 2/$5...$.50 with $1/1 from 6/2 SS.
Also I saw some cutter insect repellants on clearance for$2.49 use the $.75/1 from 5/19 RP and pay only $1!!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Jul 11, 1:00 p.m.

jdwsbutterfly5604 - Sorry, but I am not posting an additional HT list since my focus is on Triangle deals and I have already spent many many extra hours having to deal with yet another Super Doubles list. :-)

You can still use the same deals list I posted with the deals from the ad, just don't double the coupons. The deals for milk, eggs, produce, meat, etc should still be the same. Keep in mind that I use the ad for the Triangle stores so those are the prices I use.

robinfowler2 - When a ZVR is deducted you will see ZVR and then the name of the product and then the amount deducted on the receipt. If you do not see ZVR, then the e-coupn did not get deducted. You can go back into the store asap or just call the 800 number for customer service. They may be able to add a credit on to your Vic card for the next time you shop.

Thanks DianeNC, Didn't want to print out the coupon until I knew if it would double or not.

  • DianeNC Jul 11, 12:15 p.m.

spaldingcoupon - I just checked, and unfortunately it does have (in small print) "Coupon not subject to doubling" in the fine print, as opposed to where we normally see that on the top of the coupon. :( Faye - If you want to remove my post about that particular item, please feel free to do so.

Sorry for the incorrect info on that one.

  • TJ84 Jul 11, 12:08 p.m.

DianeNC, does the Fisher Snack coupon have "do not double"? There is one from the newspaper for .75 that states "not subject to doubling"

  • robinfowler2 Jul 11, 12:07 p.m.

This is a rookie question: what does the receipt show when a ZVR is deducted? I see "Vic savings," but that is just the sale price? And if the ZVR didn't come off, can I go back next day? I'm shopping at North Ridge.

  • DianeNC Jul 11, 10:38 a.m.

Sorry...found one more - another freebie!

Coupons.com has a $1.00 coupon when you buy one Fisher Snack item, 4 oz. or larger. Although the picture on the coupon shows a large can and jar of this product, the wording - which is what HT should go by - just states "One (1) Fisher Snack item 4 oz. or larger."

HT currently has the 4 oz. Fisher Energy Trail Mix and the 4 oz. Fisher Omega 3 Trail Mix on sale 2/$3.00, making them both free when you use two of these coupons.
