There is an exciting update regarding the new Harris Teeter digital coupons! Harris Teeter IS allowing stacking of digital and paper coupons per their Facebook page today! Here is the actual response from Harris Teeter on their Facebook page:

"We apologize for the misunderstanding. This was going to change but until further notice you can still use the eVIC coupon with a paper coupon. Thanks!"

The comment from Harris Teeter is in response to shopper comments about the changes and was posted just after 10 am today (1/15).

Here is the additional information about the new program:

The new digital coupons are available to load to your Vic card. Go to and click on My Login/Signup. Then click on e-Vic Coupons under the My e-Vic Savings tab. Then click to sign up for the new digital coupons program.

Important digital coupon policies to remember:

* These digital coupons CAN be combined with paper coupons or any other manufacturer's coupons.

* Digital coupons will not double.

* You can clip up to 20 digital coupons at a time, if you have that many available to load. The 20 coupon limit will be in effect until January of 2016. At that time, they will re-launch the complete program, according to their website.

The new digital coupons service provider is YOU Tech, which is owned by Kroger.  For more information on the digital coupon program, see their website at

ncblondegardner - I agree with Dr D. Thanks for the first hand report that they are actually stacking in the stores!

NCBLONDEGARDNER, thanks for reporting your stacking success! It's always nice to have advance confirmation for new systems like this, vs. standing in line at CS on a really busy weekend day when something expected to work actually does not.

I was concerned that the stacking may not work, so I asked my favorite cashier to scan certain items first and see what happened and it worked; she was well aware of the new digital coupons and said, "oh yeah, they are stacking fine". What I found was that the digital coupon amount appeared below the item within the actual receipt, not below along with the other coupons like the old zvr's did. So kind of like when you purchase a Thursday - Tuesday EVIC special.

I am glad to see this decision reversal. Yay!

the other day, I'm pretty sure Kroger actually stacked the digital coupon & paper coupon I had for something. I was checking my receipt to make sure the digital coupons for the 2 free things came off & noticed another one that I'm pretty sure I had a paper coupon for. Can't be 100% sure though.

Great News, Love my HT. Just saved $65.50 on my trip today. You ROCK FAYE! Thank you so much for all your hard work. Your family is in my prayers.

Well, being able to 'stack' the digital coupons, though not nearly the $$ amounts of the old zvr's, is definitely a bit of welcome news!

Guess Kroger was getting too much negative feedback and decided to back off for a while! Still believe it will eventually be like Krogers - no stacking, just digital 'or' paper and no doubling. Hope I'm wrong though!
