UNC wrestler arrested in fight; two officers injured

Chapel Hill, N.C. — Two Chapel Hill police officers suffered minor injuries Tuesday night while breaking up a large fight in the 100 block of East Franklin Street near the Varsity Theater.
Officers arrested University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill student Corey D. Mock, who is on the school's wrestling team, which is coached by his father. Officers said Mock ran from them after they saw him fighting.
He is charged with simple affray, as well as resisting, delaying and obstructing an officer. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
Police did not say how the two officers were injured. Their names were not released. No other information was available.
