UNC football helmets, equipment stolen

— Campus police are trying to identify men who took football helmets and other equipment Oct. 21 from the Frank H. Kenan Football Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

School officials said two football helmets, T-shirts and other items of clothing were stolen. The helmets are worth $600 total, official said. No uniforms were taken. 

Police are searching for two men shown on surveillance video walking through Kenan that day.

Anyone with information about the thefts or the men in the video should call Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515 or UNC Police Detective Matt Dodson at 919-962-8176. Call may remain anonymous.

    There are plenty of ways to have some 'fun' that don't involve taking things that don't belong to you. What if some fun loving college kids decided to come to your house to have some fun at your expense? Just sayin'

    Going out on a limb but probably Duke/State/VT students just having some fun...too bad these days you can't do that without getting arrested.
