UNC-CH, NCSU chancellors part of White House panel on college access

Raleigh, N.C. — The chief executives of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University have been invited to the White House to discuss ways to improve access to higher education.
UNC Chancellor Carol Folt and N.C. State Chancellor Randy Woodson will head to Washington, D.C., on Thursday for the event hosted by President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.
The invitation comes one day after the president visits N.C. State to talk about the economy.
