Uber to deliver kittens Thursday

Uber will be delivering kittens on-demand as part of a fundraiser for the SPCA of Wake County.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Uber will be offering kitten deliveries Thursday as part of a fundraiser for animal charities across the country.

Local proceeds will benefit SPCA of Wake County.

Want a kitten to come visit you? Here's the scoop:

Open your Uber app between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Availability is limited so you want to book your kitten-visit early.
Request the “KITTENS” option in your app.
There is a $30 snuggle fee for the kittens to visit.
Once the kittens arrive, you and your friends will get 15 minutes of time with the kittens. Make sure the space is enclosed because we don't want any kittens making a run for it.

In many cities the kittens are available for adoption, so consider adopting. Previous UberKittens events have helped more than 30 kittens find their forever homes.
