— The bodies of two women were found inside a house near Rougemont on Monday, Durham County authorities said Tuesday.

Authorities said there was no sign of foul play in the deaths of Donna Andrews Lloyd, 58, and Wendy Chase, 37. The bodies have been sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Chapel Hill for autopsies to determine the cause of death.

A friend went to 121 Quail Roost Farm Road at about noon Monday after being unable to reach the women by phone for two days, authorities said. It's unclear how long the women had been dead.

Lloyd rented the house, which is among several rental properties on an area horse farm, and Chase stayed with her from time to time, authorities said.

@lineofduty- I did not know these women personally but I do know a lot of their friends and I can assure you these women were loved and are being mourned terribly right now. Why purposely be cynical and rude? Please remember that people mourning these deaths read these articles and your comment was insensitive, uncalled for and just tacky.

Regarding the comment "wanted in court for drug charges," you are wrong. If you listen to what the reporter was saying, one of the women was accused of lying to the police regarding pills.

lineofduty - what is your point? Just want to criticize someone's well wishing?

You obviously need something constructive to do so go do it and stop being so cynical.

I know you're well wishing ... but how do you know all that? have friends & family that work in a prison, tell me so many stories that many just have horrible families that just hate each other. like slingblade ... just a mess.

Channel 11 News just said it is a suspicious death as they were wanted in court for drug charges and speeding tickets. They said just no evidence at the first look of foul play.

Probably a carbon monoxide poisoning by using inappropriate heating devices in the home.

    Drendo:

It says no SIGNS of foul play. No way they can rule it out without a complete investigation and autopsies.

Condolences to those who loved them.
